Triple Hit
3/13/2007

Our radar recently located tree unidentified objects in the vast musical space. Interested by the unusual sound we’ve traced the first glowing sparkle in the deep cosmos. Allocated at approximately 3.6 light years the unusual activity of this planed took led us to the idea of deep surface scan. Radiation, high radiation my friends. In the spectral analyzer we could clearly see all those glowing snares and the slappy bass taking endless bath in the enormous ocean of dark ideas. Purely abstract, chained by thoughtful rhythm the music coming right to our brains exploded in a whisper “Nuclear sin“. Strange passenger we have now my friends, but the intensity of all aural reflection tells us that Nuclear sin is one of us. We recommend his purification breakz disregarding the age.

We continued to the next object of interest - small star, so shiny that we could heavily investigate it. The abstract presence was so deep that without hesitation we have opened the doors of our ship and “moodix” entered to shake a hand with all of us. The voices that flows trough his electronic vibe in “3stars” appears to be from our country - a traditional folk music, generating immense power and filling everyone’s hearth with joy. Yep, that’s right he is one of us.

The last planetary object is a complete mystery. Some of the people on-board said that the unique frequency and the combination of substances found on the planet of these people coincides from the obscure territory of the galaxy Mixtlan. The force field of the land and the perpetual beating pulse that came from their songs launched a whole new galaxy of experience and we encourage you to join “Taigakanza’s flight trips. We guarantee that your binaural waves will re-shape in a way that you’ll see and hear something unique.

Happy New Year
1/2/2007

Dear Fellow Aliens,

I know that the past year was tough, indeed. Many bad things happened to our little green marble a.k.a Earth. And it is obvious that this is just the beginning of a period that will make our lives interesting, even more interesting than we would ever imagine. In this light and under the influences of many conversations with friends it is obvious what we have to do. We, the Brain of this humble community of creative artists believe that the main goal is to continue with the creativity, to keep spreading the good vibes trough our music!

Yes, we are different. There are no commercial chains that leads to musical slavery here. This is our ship and here we’re the captains. Keep the good work all of you, our dear community artists, whose talents are more than a weapon of expression - it is a lifestyle unique in every reflection of the world that is encoded in your songs. We are really proud that you have the power to express yourself in such beautiful way.

The new years comes with the recent join of one stylish guy - Mr. Moods. We are totally blasted and happy to have him on board! It is hard to describe the style of this artist - it looks like calm black ninja for me, possessing the knowledge of the lo-fi land, ready to cut your heads with perfectly chilled beatz, empowered with oily basslines and uniques voices. Beware, in combination with Mr. VPD you will face mental threat that will change your concept of life and musical experience forever!

Happy New Year and let the force be with you dear friends and hitchhikers on the board of HomeTrip.net!

The Brain

Some great news!
10/22/2006

Hi beloved children of the Home Trip open minded musical community! Yes, we have some news for you. First of all we would like to say official hello to one extraordinary and very talented young man: Violent Public Disorderaz! Yep, this guy will break your bones, his style is so much applying to our specific musical taste that we can hardly handle ourselves when one of his tunes is kicking the bass. Extremely pleased to have this wonderful artist among us we will save further comments and will direct you to the incredible fluent, tasty, mind blowing mixture of sounds: Ladies and Gentlemen - Mr. VPD!

As an effect of the bright inspiration caused by Violent Public Disorderaz, as well the chance to speak with Stealthsonic in our souls something has been lightened up. Yep, the creativity has this powerful perk - to boost each other of the artists in a community. This is why HomeTrip.net is now on MySpace.com, looking for new talents, communication with other bands and sharing it’s ideas. Once again this humble creation has been revived and this time I really doubt that there is anything that will stop our infesting march! :)

Keep up the good work, you loyal friends!

StealthSonic: Exclusive interview
10/8/2006

We had the pleasure to Interview one of our best friends - Stealthsonic! We can talk much about their fluent and quality style, but I may suppose this as inappropriate simply because you already had the chance to blow your head with their freaky tracks. They are with us for almost year, bringing new color to the MP3 mayhem whose we have given home here. So sit back, relax and rock some tune, reading the exclusive share of thoughts on the board of HomeTrip.net!

HT: So let’s get started. First of all I would like to give you our apologies for the delay in our interview date :)
Stealthsonic: The delay only made it more desirable.
HT: I fully understand and we at Hometrip are grateful for your responsiveness! Well, the first question I would like to ask is who are you actually?
Stealthsonic: Stealthsonic consists of me (Freakoftheweek)and my twin-brother (Psycrow). And since this is a musical interview we tend not to use our real names but our musical aliases. We teamed up in the year 2000.
HT: I fully understand, our community is open for talents and as you know we respect your privacy, so no names will be shared :). What is your musical flavor, your favorite styles?
Stealthsonic: Our main inspiration has always been Big Beat and its pioneers, like Fatboy Slim, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and so on. We are also inspired by Downtempo music in its different forms, such az Trip Hop, Acid Jazz, Dope Beats. Lately we’ve been fascinated by Dubstep, IDM, Punk and even Classical music. Hense the variety in our productions
HT: Yeah, I was really impressed by your tracks when I heard them for the very first time! Your style really rocks. Usually most of the people will ask you what software are you using etc., but I believe that this is not the essence of the music, so I would like to ask what is the concept of your music, what you would like to achieve with your songs?
Stealthsonic: We have actually achieved a lot with our tracks, but not on the commercial tip. the thing with our music is, that each song has a certain history behind it. Either that, or it is dedicated to someone or something. So when your inspiration comes from the common aspects of life we think that our main goal is to respond to those aspects. We could say that with each track of ours we aim to reach out and touch a certain part of the listener’s mind… and we hope we did good!
HT: As for me - you did it perfectly bro :). I believe that every song guards a pattern of our life, right?
Stealthsonic: Thanks for the props mate, cheers! The songs really do guard patterns, especially electronic songs, they are the druids who light up the right way for us, they protect us from losing our minds in this crazy world of ours, they carry our synthetic DNA if we might say. Sometimes they even unlock the cage that holds your alter ego. All those things make electronic songs a very important and special part of the listeners’ lives
HT: This is one of the reasons for the existence of this humble community, indeed! As a close friend, tell me your honest opinion about the music that spreads in Bulgaria in this very moment.
Stealthsonic: To be honest with you we have been astonished time and again by the quality of our fellow native underground producers, you guys are something special, something that every musician should be proud to be a part of. As we are :) The good thing about it all is that no one is trying to emerge among the others, no one is trying to fit any kind of stereotype block and this is what makes each and everyone of you guys unique and special in your own way! We feel lucky to know you
HT: This is interesting point of view. I expected to hear something about the commercial shits and the people that doing it. Actually your thoughts touch one different aspect of the music and I will agree that there is no worth of value spending time on the commercial Bulgarian music. Do you believe that the BG underground have future and what we can do about the progress?
Stealthsonic: Well we might start by expanding the Hometrip ranks. We’re suggesting frequent community member meetings and, in a later time, some gigs maybe. Just imagine the whole idea of Hometrip on tour!
HT: Let’s hope that this will happen in the near future :) We have some ideas that will be shared soon and upcoming forum to be able to communicate better each other! About you as music artist, what is the most important? Do you make music only for fun or you’re having plans to sell it?
Stealthsonic: Well we’ve always wanted Stealthsonic to become a SKINT records recruit, so we have been thinking about making music as a way of livng. But on the other hand having fun has always been our main objective, because if you’re not having fun doing something you like, then what’s the point doing it, right?
Stealthsonic: By the way we’re having fun right now, doing this interview, so we decided to mix some loops in order to celebrate this next step in the development of the Hometrip community you will be able to hear it first hand right after we finish off here :)
HT: There is nothing to please us more than a good piece of inspiration in form of a musical track! :) One of the last questions I have for you is related to the previous one. If you start to make music for living don’t you afraid that you should be driven by the taste of your “customers"?
Stealthsonic: There’s always such possibility but we don’t think things will come to that. If we ever sign a record deal it will be with someone who picked us because of who we are and because of the music we’re making. We’re not some fuckin mainstream pop star, a being, created by some producer’s greedy fantasy, we made ourselves, so we hope to blaze our own trail, and not follow others’
HT: I am sure that you will achieve your goal and I wish you luck on this! The last question is - would you perform in live if there is such possibility?
Stealthsonic: Of course mate!!! It’s all about the live gigs, this is the way for us to get in touch with people… plus we’ve always pictured ourselves behind all the gizmos and stuff on the scene, it looks cool :)
HT: That’s great! I really like your attitude dude, thank you for the time you spent on this interview and keep the good work! It is a pleasure for us to have you guys with the fresh, blazing presence your music is spreading!
Stealthsonic: Thanks mate, right back at cha! The pleasure is mutual. And thank you for Hometrip.net!!! Oh, here’s the track we promised… enjoy!

Those Dark Steps sneaking around…
4/8/2006

Probably our constant visitors have noticed the increased activity of DJ Darkstep - one of our most respected friends. Why do we respect him? Because he is making something that is not common for our Bulgarian Nation - creating real community, expanding the sub-culture, raising hip-hop kingdom of tallented young artists.

If you are a Bulgarian resident you will know that the things with the music here are not going well. The commerce (our main enemy) is supressing the real culture and intelect of our young people. Pseudo stars, shining on our pop-scene are launching mass-production for commercial consumption. Here you can be a musician if you have enough connections with some of the old post-comunistic musical mastodonts… or if you are a female with beauty and middle quality voice. Then you can turn in a “chalga” star. This is not even music for us so let’s not loose your time. Back to the point.

We hate that stuff, this commercial wave. And we embrace the tough guys in the shadows that are being prosecuted for the great crime to light up a joint sometime and for expressing their point of view via grafitti and MC-ing. These are the humans here and together with their weird way to express we can see their point, we can enjoy the freedom to show middle finger to the corruption, to the shitty politics that are selling our souls. The voice of the bulgarians, proud, cold, dissapointed. Is there a way they can change this reality? Yes, and this is the music they make. Their life.

Who are these guys? DJ Darkstep of course, Sensei, MD Beddah, Neizvesten, Screwball MC, Atila, Rimak, Ispaneca, The Drunken Ma, Ragga One and all other colorful persons.

So, If you are still wondering why we are posting this - it is to say Big Respect to all of you guys and Keep the light up! :)

Real Tough
2/24/2006

Apologies for not writing you so much these days. You all know that the life is hard and progressively complicated. Of course all those who knows us will despite this explanation because they know that we are so lazy. Yep, that’s true we are lazy bastards. But it is winter and I believe that this unpleasant season is the main reason for this dissapearance, so please forgive us :)

We have some guys scheduled for accounts and soon we will send them the login details to be able to upload some stuff. As well we will present them, because you know that our community is live exactly due this - our friends.

If, however you need any urgent assistance, please do not hesitate to give us a call at +359886350486 - Asking for the Brains. We will assist you with all our efforts if we know that you are in a hurry :)

Peace and take care! Soon, maybe starting from the 1st of March we will strike again with few surprises ;)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Yar!

We love you!

Hometrip Forum

Hello dear fellows. We are tremendously sorry to inform you that the forum we have has been recently exploited. Ahoi to all of the brothers (still waiting for the sis tho)!

We know, it is boring without updates on our work and tracks. But this is the cruel reality - the space station requires engine repair, mp3 fuel to be prepared and so and so. I hope that the next add-on will help you to stick up with us and continue to visit our little community. We have recently implemented a directory for electronic music. You can access it here:

directory.hometrip.net

As soon as we get on the line we will let you know. Meanwhile, an Idea is growing. We have the strange feeling that many of you have pieces of work - samples, unfinished songs, crappy ideas, tunes… What do you think? Do you want to make new section when everybody will be able to upload this shiny pieces of work? Let us know at the Brain mail.

See you very soon and take care!

NEWS

Heeey Hooo! We have wonderful news for you - dear Unusual Friends. After several hard weeks and complex decisions of the board of HomeTrip.net the Brain decided to give a present to all freakz worldwide:

The Forum!

Take it amd enjoy it. Finally we have a place when we can go and share a word each other. Any suggestions and comments, as well offers for new forums or categories are welcome. Just post them on the Forum. As you will notice the forum is divided on two general categories - Bulgarian and English. This is simply because almost all artists are from Bulgaria and we have many friends that will enjoy their native language. Of course we respect all people worldwide and as you know every artist can post your song for free on our site. Basically if there is a need of Spanish forum an example we will do it for you. :) That’s all. Enjoy!

P.S. - The Forum is yet in beta mode that would say that we are still thinking which of the features to allow and which to limit. But at this time feel free to take a look and register.

New Hometrippers on board!
3/20/2005

With unpardonable delay and really ashamed we are in the same time incredibly excited in presenting our newest stars in the Hometrip Community!

The first one is Karney Karneev. We really give our deepest apologies for the delay in his presentation. His style is really amazing - I will not reveal the whole mistery arount this guy but will let you know that he is Aphex Twin like. Deep and complicated style, very clean and very bright, filled with sadness and profound experience. Hear It here.

Right after Karneev we are extremely pleased to present Stealthsonic . These two brothers are a real bigbeat tornado, altough they have many tracks covering other styles like breakbeat, dark funk, downtempo and drum and bass.

In general these three guys will guarantee you enormous pleasure of more than two hours of fresh beats and extraordinary music. You are welcome to download for free these tracks. Once again the freakz in Bulgaria have proven that they can make quality music that is not limited by the commerce and the music fashion!

Once again DJ Darkstep will block your senses. Prepare to overload your eardrums with his ultimate track - Darkstep’s The Illest! There is no match for the power of the Darkness and this song is one of the clearest evidences.

After a long vacation in Hell, the most sick Hometrip warrior Uncle Frico has returned to say warm hello to the world. His new track The cock and the pussy is maybe one of the most unusual MP3 breakbeat releases I have ever heard. Sniff this pornographic breakbeat and prepare for a long trip in Uncle Frico’s most unusual musical dimension.
